Welcome to BikeAllentown! 


Mission Statement:

"BikeAllentown is an advocacy group dedicated to

improving

 the Greater Allentown community by promoting safe

and enjoyable

bicycling for transportation and recreation."





BikeAllentown is an organization of local bicyclists involved in

promoting safe transportation for biking and walking for all

Allentown Residents.  We advocate for city planning that ensures

that all residents can cycle and walk safely through their

neighborhoods and communities.

BikeAllentown has offered our ideas and support for the recent

Greenways draft for connecting Allentown's magnificent park

system.  We also are consulting with  the city of Allentown on the

most useful placement of the new bike racks in and around the

city as well as placement of shared lane markings.

BikeAllentown is also a supporter of the new "Safe Routes to

School" initiative and will be working with them in the future to

help ensure that our younger generation can safely bike and walk

to school and all destinations.
